Firmly but falsely believing he is the father of Candi’s baby, AJ is brushing up on his fatherhood knowledge. Meanwhile, Candi accompanies Constance to the Tory party conference at the Hollywood Bowl, so Constance doesn’t tell AJ the truth. Candi is a hit with the Tories and she and Constance reconcile – Constance will be Godmother!
Since Dotty left, Simpkins is run off his feet at the hotel. Dotty gets greedy with her gambling and insists Saffron gives her another tip. It goes wrong and she loses her winnings. She returns to Simpkins to ask for her job back but he simply says “You’re fired!”.
Alex and Dick are developing their spring water scam – selling tap water – and bump into the mysterious Kay Springs, who claims to be an H2-ologist. She sees through them instantly. Roy has rumbled the plan too and armed with relaxing drugs from Dr Aaron demands to be cut in on the deal. Kay flees town and Alex and Dick decide it’s time to get nasty and sell their water whether the town wants it or not!
